You must have Photoshop to use my designs! Templates are created in CS5 and can be used in earlier versions. Photoshop Elements versions are available. Please make a note when purchasing that you will need these versions. You must have a basic understanding of layers and clipping masks. I'm always willing to help but you can always google it too! There are lots of resources on the internet to help!
All designs include…
– Fully editable .PSD files…all colors and panels are fully editable.
– Change element colors using color overlays
– Add your images using clipping masks.
All of our designs can be changed with color, turn layers off, move layers around, anything you can think of. Everything is labeled to help make the templates SUPER easy to customize.
Clipping masks make it simple to drag and drop your photos. The details can be removed or modified to your exact liking. The colors are your choice and are easily changed. Everything is completely customizable!
Clipping Masks: To use the clipping mask, first select the image layer you want in the layers palette. Then drag your photo to the template file. Right click the photo layer in the layer palette and click create clipping mask. If the picture "disappears" it just means the photo is not directly above the clipping mask. You should still see a square where the picture is (as long as you have show transform controls checked at the top). You then move the picture and resize as needed making sure the clipping mask is completely covered. The clipping mask makes it easier to insert an image to be an exact size without doing the work of trimming, etc. You of course can change the size of the clipping mask to fit the picture or you can just delete it if you go with something different, like your soft edges. Just remember that you never want to see the clipping mask. My clipping masks are always gray. In the case of dual orientation (both vertical and horizontal clipping masks and/or frames present), you pick either orientation and delete the other group or just turn the eye off. The purpose is to delete additional steps of turning the image and positioning. I think that's all, doing this from memory.
StudioZap: All of the templates are StudioZap compatible but not required. If you are not familiar with StudioZap, please visit the site to see this great product designed especially for photographers. I use StudioZap to quickly populate the previews you see on my site. Template Guidelines: All of the templates use the American Color Imaging (ACI) template guidelines or White House Custom Colour (WHCC) and include the cutting guides and will specify which in the description.
Installing a font:
-Control Panel
-Double Click Fonts
-File
-Install New Font
-Under Folders, locate the folder where you have saved the font
-Select Font and click OK
The new font will be added to your fonts list so the next time you open Adobe it will be added and you can edit the text layer.
Downloading: My files are very large zip files upwards of 1 gb and therefore take some time to download. The download will usually depend on your Internet speed. I currently use 4shared for downloads. Remember to click SAVE!
All products are received as a digital download. Due to the nature of these products, no refunds will be given.
Why am I so cheap? Low overhead, no staff and no designer to pay. It's just me so I can price my templates to be more affordable for everyone.
I allow:
-use of these templates to create finished products for yourself or your photography clients which must be flattened jpgs.
-changing colors, layouts, fonts, elements to meet the client's wishes.
-use of these templates to create samples for your studio, including online. (blogs, websites, etc.)
-use of these templates to create printed promotional or marketing materials. (No logos.)
-use of these templates on your blog, website or splash page.
I do not allow:
-use of any part of my templates in anything that you will resell as a digital template in any way.
-selling, distributing, giving away or using these templates for anything other than their intended use as described above.
-using any of the images on my website to show examples. (The photos are borrowed from other photographers. Therefore, I cannot allow use elsewhere.)
-DESIGNERS MAY NOT USE MY WORK IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.
Terms of Use are included with every template. If they are missing, they still apply.
